Mold and air quality testing

mold inspection in Haifa.

Haifa is built on a mountain facing the sea, and the two work together against the walls. In the lower city and Bat Galim the bay humidity is high all year; on the Carmel, in Denya and Ahuza, houses are dug into the slope and at least one wall touches wet ground. Many buildings in Hadar and Neve Sha'anan are historic, with thick walls that absorb and release moisture very slowly. Haifa also has heavy industry and challenging outdoor air quality, so an indoor air quality test here also covers particulates and volatile organic compounds.

How it works

from the call to the report.

  1. A short call

Tell us what you saw, what you smell and what you already tried. We set a time that suits you in Haifa.

  2. The visit

A room by room walk with a moisture meter, a thermal camera and an air sampling pump. One to two hours in most homes.

  3. The lab

Samples go to an accredited lab. Species identification and concentrations usually take one to two weeks.

  4. A clear report

A digital report with a risk score per room, what was found, and what to fix first. We answer every question after it lands.

Common questions

before you book in Haifa.

In a house on the Carmel in Haifa there is mold on the wall facing the wadi. Why that one?

The wall facing the wadi is the north wall exposed to the wind, and in hillside homes it often touches the ground on one side. It is the coldest wall in the house and sometimes wet from outside too. The inspection measures it from inside and outside with a thermal camera and separates condensation from water arriving from the slope.

A flat in Haifa's lower city has a permanent musty smell and poor airflow. What can be done?

In the old, dense buildings of the lower city some rooms face an enclosed inner courtyard with no sun and no wind. Humidity never disperses there. The inspection identifies the problem rooms and the source of the smell, and the fix is usually targeted mechanical ventilation, far cheaper than a renovation.

How much does a mold inspection in Haifa cost?

The price follows the size of the property and the number of samples needed, not the city. After a short call you get a written, no obligation quote listing what is included. There is no travel surcharge for Haifa.

How soon can you inspect in Haifa?

Usually within a few days, and for urgent cases like a flood or a fresh leak we try to come sooner. Our team leaves from Ra'anana and visits Haifa regularly.

Do you also remove the mold?

No. We inspect, measure and report, and we do not do remediation. That keeps the report objective, and the contractor works from findings rather than an estimate. We are happy to recommend professionals around Haifa.
